Caribbean: Jamaica: Jamaican Style Pumpkin Punch
INGREDIENTS:
648 g (1 3/7 lb) Pumpkin Diced
131 ml (½ cups) Dragon stout beer 1 bottle
457 ml (1 ⅚ cups) Supligen alternative see notes
438 ml (1 ¾ cups) Condensed milk
2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cinnamon
621 ml (2 ½ cups) Water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash and peel the pumpkin, then dice it into 2 inches cubes.
Add the pumpkin to a pot with the water and put to cook until soft. Leave to cool.
Serve over ice.
NOTES:
You can use Guinness in place of the Dragon Stout beer.
There are several Supligen alternatives.
I used unsweetened oats milk, which is why I used that amount of condensed milk. If you use Supligen, reduce the amount of condensed milk to prevent making the punch too sweet.
